Professional Life and Career

Paul beat Tiger Woods’ championship scoring record while still an amateur by winning three Pac-12 Championships in a row.

Additionally, in 1999, he became one of just three players in the 77-year history of the Walker Cup to win four straight games.

He also started his professional career in 2001 when he joined the PGA Tour in the US and the European Tour.

Controversy

In an interview with the Sunday Times newspaper in November 2004, when asked how he felt about the US Ryder Cup team, Paul Casey reportedly responded, “Oh, we despise them. As badly as we could, we wanted to defeat them.
