Kanye West made a surprised appearance at BET 2022 to honor Diddy

Kanye West all masked up makes a surprise appearance at BET Awards 2022 to honor Diddy. “His face couldn’t be seen”.

Kanye West came in as a rare appearance at the BET Awards to pay tribute to his favorite artist Diddy comb. Diddy was there with the lifetime achievement awards on Sunday.

He was there covered in all skin covered black for the event. He was all black full-face covered, hat, sunglasses, and gloves. Kanye gave a very lengthy speech paying tribute to Diddy. He was talking about how Diddy impacted his life.

“He inspires so many of my choices, so many of my life choices. My wife‘s choices,” the fashion designer said, notably still calling Kim Kardashian his spouse despite being declared legally single in March amid their divorce. “Thanks for that, Puff.”

He described going to Diddy for advice and he made sure that he was there for him on his big day. West went on addressing that he was declaring himself dead for that year. He further tells that he never had to call Diddy more than once ever. Diddy had been through a lot himself and broke a lot of steel doors.

“I said, ‘I just want to declare myself legally dead for a year. I just want to be off the grid.’ Puff is pretty persistent, but I had to think, bro, it’s like, people get amnesia.

“Like, I should never have Puff have to ever call more than one time,” he added. “Any of us in this room, if Puff ever needs us, we need to jump and be there. This man has been through [and] survived a lot of stuff and broke down a lot of doors so we can be standing. … He broke down so many doors of classism, taste, swag.”

Before the duo hugged on the stage, Kanye referred to Diddy as a “brother”. Moments after that Diddy took the stage and dedicated his award to his ex, Kim Porter who dies in 2018. “I just want to say thank you to Kim.” He said.

It was Kanye’s first appearance at the award function after being banned for performing at the Grammy award in April.  West was nominated Grammy for the five times but this time he was prohibited because of his online violent behavior.

He called the “Gold Digger” rapper Trevor Noah a racial slur. He was suspended from the platform for straight 24 hours for violating policies, bullying, and harassment. It all began when Noah accused him of harassing Kardashian online on the “Daily Show”.

“What we’re seeing is one of the most powerful, one of the richest women in the world, unable to get her ex to stop texting her, to stop chasing after her, to stop harassing her,” 

Noah actually commented on the harassing behavior and negative comments he made about the Kardashian clan on social media. Kanye didn’t leave Kim’s new partner Pete Davison as well. Noah says even after being so powerful and richest woman she is not able to stop this from happening. Kim is bearing all this crap of chasing her and texting her.

However, West was not allowed to give a performance at the Grammy award. “I said counsel Kanye not cancel Kanye.”

Maybe he received what he deserve but Noah feels guilty. He further says that I told everyone to counsel Kanye not cancel Kanye. well, Kanye is definitely in a mood!
