Derek Jeter talked about his daughters and his life after being a dad of three daughters in an interview with Extra. He explained his life as a dad despite being an athlete.
Derek Jeter is the professional baseball shortstop and also a dad of three daughters. He shares three daughters with his wife, Hannah Jeter. They are River Rose, Story Grey, and Bella Raine who are 7, 3.5, and 5 years respectively.
As we know he is a public figure, and people assume that they know everything. However, his personal life is different apart from being an athlete. Recently, in an interview with Extra, he said that his story is different and people don’t know about it yet except his family. He may be strong and powerful outside but inside his home among his three daughters, he is still a kid.
Similarly, in an interview, Derek explained that he is busy with his daughters. Further, he said,
“The mornings are early … getting them up, they’re not in school right now, but dropping them off at school, picking them up. Tennis lessons, ballet lessons, you know.”

Additionally, Derek Jeter also revealed the other side of him. As he says,
“I’m getting my nails painted and makeup on my face and dresses. So there’s a whole other side to me.”

On the other hand, the baseballer also reveals that his three angles don’t know about him. He explained that they do not know that their dad is a five-time World Series champion. Moreover, according to Derek,
“They know that I played for the Yankees. They see me on TV. They recognize me, especially during this documentary. But other than that, they have no idea and I like it that way.”
He is happy not telling his daughters that he is a star. Similarly, he is comfortable as a dad or says, super dad. Talking more about Jeter, he received 396 votes from the Baseball Writer’s Association of America. Likewise, after the birth of Derek and Hannah’s third daughter, he shares his happiness after being the dad of three girls on the red carpet in October last year.

“My girls are the absolute best. You know, you hear it before you have kids, people will tell you, ‘Oh, wait until you have your own,’ but it really is true.”

“Every day there’s something new, and they learn something new every single day. It’s been wonderful. It’s been more than I ever could’ve imagined.”

“I couldn’t be luckier. Let me say it again, let me clarify. I couldn’t be luckier that our paths crossed when they did. I love you so much, and there’s been nothing more fulfilling in my life than building our future and our family together.”
Though after his retirement, Derek Jeter is spending his whole time with his wife and three daughters. And life is amazing when you have your close ones by your side!
