Are Charli D’Amelio and her mom, Heidi D’Amelio joining Season 31 of “Dancing With The Stars”? Is the rumors true?

Charli D’Amelio and her mother, Heidi D’Amelio are stepping from TikTok to season 31 of “Dancing With the Stars.” They are popular for showing their dance skills on TikTok and now the rumors about them joining DWTS are spreading all over.

Charli D’Amelio is participating in the reality show “Dancing With The Stars” along with her mom, Heidi D’Amelio. On Thursday,  the rumors about joining the show began spreading.

The DWTS show will start the next month on Disney+. Similarly, mother-daughter are performing separately being each other’s competition. Their main goal of them is to win a mirrorball trophy for either mother or a daughter.

Additionally, Charli and Heidi both have strong fan bases due to TikTok and their dance skills. They have impressed their viewers and the public via video which is a plus point for the competition.

Not only this, but Charli’s boyfriend, Landon Barker, and her sister, Dixie D’Amelio are the main supporters.

Furthermore, the reality star has also worked with DWTS judge Derek Hough and his sister, Julianne Hough.

As the trio teamed up for a “Dirty Dancing” tribute during the “Step Into… the Movies” special that premiered in March.

However, neither Charli nor Heidi has confirmed that the ongoing rumor is true.

The contestants will be revealed the next month on “Good Morning America” and from there we can know if Charli & Heidi have participated or not. Apart from this, the trailer of DWTS Season 31 will be shown on Disney+ not on ABC this time.

Likewise, the cohost of this season will be Tyra Banks and Season 19 winner, Alfonso Ribeiro. Similarly, the judges will be  Derek HoughCarrie Ann Inaba, Len Goodman, and Bruno Tonioli.

 Moreover,  the sources also claim that Daniella Karagach will be back along with fellow pros. They will be, Artem Chigvintsev, Witney Carson, Brandon Armstrong, Cheryl Burke, and Pasha Pashkov.

On the other hand, Alfonso also stated his feelings and shared his happiness after getting a chance to cohost the reality show. He said,

“I’m super excited. For me to be asked now to co-host with Tyra and be part of the great crew and dancers and friends … to be able to be on stage with them and to be part of that family again, is quite special for me.” 

Further, he also added,

“I mean, these dancers are friends of mine at this point now. We really do all hang out together and talk outside of that show.”

The “Dancing With The Stars” winner, Cheryl Burke shared how is she feeling after getting the news of going back to the show. She says that she is excited and so happy. Also, Cheryl stated in May,

“It’s an exciting new chapter for the show and for the streaming world in general. Now the west coast can vote in real-time. I’m excited for the show possibilities over at Disney+ and am daydreaming about how we’re going t pull off quick changes and set changes with no commercial breaks!”

Meanwhile, the judge of the show, Derek Hough also talked about his reaction after hearing the announcement as a judge. In May, he further continued,

“Within 10 seconds, I was very, very excited about it. I think that’s where a lot of things are moving toward. It’s more opportunity for more performances, more dances, more creativity so I’m excited about that too.”

The Season 31 of “Dancing With The Stars” will be premiered on September 19 on Disney+
