He attended Stratford Academy in Macon, Georgia. He established himself as a superb basketball and football player.
Quintez’s high school coach, Mark Fariba, claimed that Quintez had already visualized himself as a professional athlete. They valued both academics and athletics equally.

Quintez also excelled off the field. He received Division I football and basketball scholarships as a result of his academic success at UW.
He desired to diverge from his father’s route and carry on his father’s lessons.
Quintez participated in three positions during his high school football career: running back, wide receiver, and defense. He received a three-star grade for recruiting.

Quintez broke his leg, needed surgery, and was forced to sit out the rest of the year.
His season got off to a terrible start when he was once again suspended for the full campaign owing to legal concerns.
The NCAA permitted Quintez to return in August 2019, and he used his senior season to show off his skills.
He always had the football team’s backing. He took part in the 2020 NFL Scouting Combine and was the team’s top receiver in terms of receptions, receiving yards, and touchdown receptions.

On April 3, 2017, Andre, who had just turned 39, was shot and killed.
After learning the news, Quintez left the University of Wisconsin practice to accompany his coach Gilmore back to his hometown to be with his family.
According to sources, Andre and Calvin Stapleton got into a violent dispute the same day in front of a store in Macon.
Calvin shot Andre in the head with a pistol when he walked away from the conversation and refused to prolong it. The next day, Andre passed away.

After that, Calvin was charged with murder and engaged in illegal street gang activity. Calvin, though, was adjudicated guilty.
Quintez and his father had a unique closeness that could never be broken. He is who he is today solely as a result of his father. He learned how to treat people right from Andre.
There was no way to fill the hole or make the grieving process easier. After the passing of his father, his sophomore season experienced a unique hiatus.
He simply physically joined his career, but he still had to do it.
Assaulted Sexually
Quintez did, however, emerge as Washington’s second-best wide receiver. Moreover, an athlete who has experienced heartbreak. He also honored his father by wearing a sticker with his initials on it on his helmet.
A year later, on the evening of April 21 and the early hours of April 22, Quintez, then age 21, had intercourse with two ladies, both of whom were 18 years old, in Madison’s apartment.
They were university students, those two women.
Later, the women accused him of rape, alleging that they were too inebriated to understand what was happening and that the deed was performed without their consent.

Additionally, they claimed that Quitez profited from the circumstance.
Quintez was accused of second-and third-degree sexual abuse; if found guilty, the latter accusation would result in a 40-year life term.
Quintez was consequently suspended from WU for an entire season for breaking the code of conduct.
But after presenting the evidence in court alongside his attorney, Stephen Meyer, he was declared innocent.
In either case, the setbacks left him mentally broken. For several nights, he couldn’t sleep because he knew he was innocent.
