Initial Journey

Emily Clark has grown up with a family tradition of watching hockey highlights on television every night. Emily was motivated by one of the player’s stories on one of these nights.

After signing the contract, he claimed that his ambition of playing in the NHL had come true. Back then, she indulged her siblings in the activity by attending their skill improvement classes frequently.

She says that the piggyback rides her brothers used to offer her back then are her favorite memory. Her father had also served as the community’s ice hockey coach, and over time, she began to learn the sport with all of them.

Overall, she claims that if she didn’t constantly feel the need to show herself on the field, she would have been more supportive of her brothers during the early years of their careers.

“Those skates were so fun for me, to be able to develop skills with my brothers. I think they definitely pushed me to get better through that friendly competition, and they’re so supportive of me, I definitely couldn’t do it without them either.”
