Kanye West now known as Ye employed Johnny Depp’s legal representative in his defamation case against Amber Heard to handle his business affairs.
The Los Angeles-based attorney, 38, and her firm, Brown Rudnick, will manage all business concerns, including contracts and negotiations, for the 45-year-old Yeezy CEO Kanye West, according to TMZ.
Vasquez’s name and face might be recognizable to some people because she was the breakout heroine of Johnny Depp’s gruesome courtroom drama centered around his defamation lawsuit against his ex-wife, Amber Heard.
West, whose name was officially changed to Ye in October 2021, seems to be in desperate need of Vasquez’s assistance as a number of his relationships are shrinking as a result of his contentious “White Lives Matter” T-shirts and anti-Semitic rants.

Adidas stated earlier this month that their contract with the “Jesus Walks” rapper was “under review,” and just this week, Balenciaga severed all relations with him.
More Cases on Ye
Additionally, George Floyd’s family announced their intention to sue after West claimed last week on the podcast Drink Champs that George Floyd’s death was caused by a fentanyl overdose and not by former police officer Derek Chauvin kneeling on Floyd’s neck for nine and a half minutes, as the Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office determined.
According to NPR, Roxie Washington, the mother of Floyd’s daughter Gianna, intends to sue for $250 million in damages for “harassment, misappropriation, defamation, and infliction of emotional distress.” Her attorneys made the announcement on her behalf.

It was impossible to immediately get a comment from Vasquez regarding whether or not she is West’s advocate. Kanye West representatives did not respond to our inquiries right away either.
When it comes to his attorneys, West has recently made a lot of hiring and firing decisions.
Ye hired Robert Stephan Cohen, the former divorce attorney for Melinda Gates, in late September to help him in his dispute with Kim Kardashian.
According to Page Six, West had hired the senior partner at Cohen Clair Lans Greifer Thorpe & Rottenstreich LLP as counsel.
After being married for over seven years, Kardashian, 42, filed for divorce in February 2021. This March, the former marriage was formally deemed legally separated.
Vasquez won’t be engaged in West’s divorce proceedings, claims TMZ.
Previous Court Rumor of Camille and Depp
Fans who watched Johnny Depp’s defamation trial against his ex-wife Amber Heard, which concluded with the Pirates of the Caribbean actor being granted $10 million in damages, should have no trouble recognizing Camille.
Vasquez rose to prominence during Depp’s trial, in part as a result of reports, and earned admiration from the public for her cross-examination of Heard. Eventually, her business promoted her to partner as a result of the trial.
In a press statement from June, Brown Rudnick’s chairman and CEO, William Baldiga, stated “We are delighted to welcome Camille to the partnership”
“Historically, we have reserved this announcement for the end of our fiscal year. But Camille’s performance during the Johnny Depp trial proved to the world that she was ready to take this next step now. We are incredibly proud of her and look forward to what she will accomplish as our newest partner.”

In an effort to discredit Amber, 36, Camille argued vehemently, which helped Johnny win. She emerged as a standout during the trial, leading many fans to speculate that she and Johnny, 58, might have been dating indiscreetly.
She has a boyfriend, therefore these allegations were swiftly disproved. Also, She has referred to the rumors as “sexist” and stated that it is “unethical to date clients.”
“It’s unfortunate and it’s disappointing, but at the same time, it kind of comes with the territory. I can’t say I was all that surprised,” she stated in an interview with People.
