Early Life, Family, and Education
American Producer, Richard Anthony Wolf was born in New York City on December 20, 1946. His mother, Marie G. (née Gaffney), was a stay-at-home mom, while his father, George Wolf, was a successful businessman in the advertising sector.

Hate Crimes
Wolf disclosed that 13 episodes of the upcoming Law & Order: Hate Crimes had been ordered by NBC. On March 4, 2019, NBC said that the SVU introduction would not take place since the show would return to redevelopment to further explore its premise.
The Hate Crimes series was purchased by NBC’s Peacock streaming service on June 5, 2020, in part due to linguistic concerns.
Other projects
For NBC, Wolf has two drama shows in development: The Church, a thriller about a demonic cult, and Injustice, an American adaptation of the British psychological legal drama series.
Writing for the latter undertaking is being done by Wolf and Howard Franklin. Wolf has an untitled pilot about an insurance investigator on USA Network.
