On Thursday night, Tobey Maguire made a rare appearance on the red carpet alongside his daughter Ruby Sweetheart, who is 16 years old.
The father and daughter pair attended the Los Angeles Academy Museum of Motion Pictures’ “Babylon” premiere.
Maguire, 47, looked sharp for the occasion in a Paul Smith charcoal grey suit, a black silk tie, and a white shirt.
Ruby, meanwhile, wore a stylish red leather coat with fur trimming, tights, lace-up boots, and a black velvet dress.
As they posed together on the carpet, the couple could be seen grinning at the cameras.
Maguire and his former spouse, Jennifer Meyer, had two kids together, Ruby being one of them. Otis, the son of the “Spider-Man” actor and jewelry designer, is 13 years old.
After nine years of marriage, the ex-couple decided to call it quits in 2016.
In a joint statement at the time, they said, “After much soul-searching and consideration we have made the decision to separate as a couple. As devoted parents, our first priority remains raising our children together with enduring love, respect and friendship.”

Meyer, 45, admitted that co-parenting was “a lot of work” this past June.
She described her decision to keep on track in a podcast as “it was a choice and it was trusting in, like, the universe has got our back. But let me tell you something, the work is a motherf–ker.”
Meyer did add, though, that she and Maguire remained very close. About their connection, she stated, “I can’t even express [it]. He is my brother. I love him to death.”
Maguire was linked to model Tatiana Dieteman following the dissolution of his marriage.
After three years together, they apparently split up earlier this year.
The “Don’s Plum” actor has recently been seen out and about in Beverly Hills and Miami during Art Basel with his old friend Leonardo DiCaprio.
