On January 6, 1999, in Old Town, Chicago, Illinois, Taurus Tremani Bartlett was born. Along with his parents Taurus Bartlett and Stacia Mac, he grew up with siblings Leilani, Taurean, and Leia.
Under the stage name Trench Baby, Taurean also acts as a rapper. Previously a property manager, Stacia is now Polo G’s manager.

“ODA” was the title of Polo G’s first song, which he uploaded on YouTube. In 2018, he created a SoundCloud account and launched the song “Gang with Me,” which received millions of views very rapidly. “Welcome Back,” “Neva Cared,” and “Finer Things” were his subsequent singles after “Gang with Me.”

Currently, Polo G is SIngle. He and his ex- fiancée Crystal Blease had their baby Tremani on July 6, 2019. The reason for their break up is unknown. However, there was a rumor of Blease cheating, later it was found the mystery man was actually gay.
After overdosing on narcotics at a party in August 2019, the rapper was rushed to the hospital. He later posted pictures from his hospital bed on social media with the message, “I got a little too intoxicated last night and woke up in an emergency department and nearly lost my life.” Following a near-death experience, Polo G stopped using Xanax and Ecstasy.
On suspicion of assaulting a police officer who had stopped the vehicle he was riding in, he was taken into custody in Miami in June 2021. After that, he was detained on a number of offences, including criminal mischief, making threats, and violence on a police officer.
In November 2021, three of the accusations were dismissed, and Polo G’s lawyer reportedly informed TMZ that the two remaining counts would also be dismissed once he had finished an anger treatment course.
