Joshua Michael Peck was born on November 10th, 1986 in New York City. In Hell’s Kitchen, he was nurtured by his mother Barbara, and his maternal grandmother. Peck’s parents were not married and he was born as a result of an extramarital relationship.
Until his father’s passing in 2013, he had never met him. He had a bar mitzvah ceremony in childhood because Peck and both of his parents are Jews.
Peck spent a lot of time indoors watching sitcoms while suffering from asthma as a child. He developed an interest in stand-up comedy when he was eight years old. He went to The Professional Performing Arts School and P.S. 40.

Early Career
Peck performed stand-up comedy at Carolines on Broadway and at TADA! Youth Theater for the Audrey Hepburn Foundation. At the age of ten, in 1996, he made an appearance on The Rosie O’Donnell Show. When he was 13 years old, he was offered a position on Nickelodeon’s The Amanda Show. Peck became well-liked by young viewers on the popular Nickelodeon program.
Peck’s first movie was Snow Day (2000). Additionally, he appeared in Max Keeble’s Big Move (2001), a theatrical movie, with Alex D. Linz and Zena Grey. He was chosen to play Josh Nichols opposite Drake Bell’s Drake Parker in the 2004 Nickelodeon sitcom Drake & Josh, which helped Peck achieve popularity with young viewers.

Eddie was voiced by Peck in the animated sequel Ice Age: The Meltdown in 2006, and he later appeared in the Red Dawn remake and Ice Age: Continental Drift as Eddie. He started providing Casey Jones’ voice for Nickelodeon’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in 2013.
He once again dominated television in the comedy series “Grandfathered” in 2015, and he also received a nomination for “The People’s Choice Award” for “Favorite Actor in a New TV Series”.
Peck played Ross in the FOX series Pitch in 2016. Peck appeared in a number of appearances on David Dobrik’s vlog before starting his own YouTube channel.
In February 2020, it was revealed that Peck had been chosen to play U.S. Marshal Scott Turner II in the Disney+ sequel of Turner & Hooch in the series’ leading role. Peck joined the How I Met Your Father cast in August 2021 as Drew, a vice principal at an elementary school.
