Moon Bin’s uncertain demise at the age of 25 shocked everyone. Why did he commit suicide?

Moon Bin, the famous K-pop star was found dead at his home on Wednesday night. The investigation says he attempted suicide at the age of 25.

Moon Bin is no more with us. This is the saddest thing on the internet and fans are still not over Moon Bin’s death. He was a member of the popular boy band, “Astro” in South Korea. He was found dead at his home by his manager at around 8:10 p.m. on Wednesday night. April 19, 2023, is the black day for every K-pop fan and Moon Bin’s fans especially.

A South Korean entertainment company, Fantagio announced Moon Bin’s demise on Thursday publicly which left people in a big shock. They stated, “Moon Bin suddenly left us and became a star in the sky.” Also, they added,

“All Astro members, Fantagio colleagues, executives, and employees are deeply mourning the deceased in such great sadness and shock. He always loved and thought of the fans more than anyone else.”

Similarly, the Gangnam Police Station confirmed Bin’s death is due to suicide as no signs of murder or anything were found during the investigation. The real reason for his death is not disclosed yet. According to investigators, “No signs of foul play have been found related to this case.” 

Many fans poured love and grief into this uncertain demise of the K-pop star. He was very young to take his life away. All the social media platforms are filled with heartfelt condolences expressed by Bin’s fans, family, and friends. Likewise, over 2.6 million tweets were tweeted in the hashtag #moonbin from different countries. Furthermore, some fans also recorded a video in memory of the late Moon Bin by lining a wall with white balloons and the theme colors of the Astro band.

Commenting in the video shared on Twitter, one devastated fan wrote, “Rest in peace Moonbin… You had words of [comfort] for others. I wish you had talked about your pain”. Meanwhile, MTV Asia also tweeted, “You’re a star in the sky now and watching over the people you love. Hearts and thoughts go out to his loved ones and all AROHAs”.

Moon Bin is the brother of the K-pop celebrity, Moon Sua who performs as part of the girl group Billie. Well, he first became the part of Astro band in the year 2016. Moreover, the other members of the group are Jinjin, MJ, Cha Eun-woo, and Yoon San-ha. On the other hand, Bin also performed as a part of Moon Bin & Sanha.

Similarly, the duo, Sanha, and Moon Bin were supposed to perform next month in Busan for promoting the 2030 World Expo on May 13 which will be possible now. His decision to take his life away saddened every people. However, at first, he worked as a child actor in the Tv Drama, “Boys Over Flowers”. In addition, the drama became popular and from there, Moon Bin’s actual career began.
Additionally, CedarBough Saeji, the assistant professor of Korean and East Asian Studies said,

“Moonbin was a phenomenally talented dancer and singer. In recent years, he’d started writing some of the material for Astro as well. And he’d also been acting in a bunch of web dramas that had been quite popular. There’s really no limit to how far he could have gone if he continued his career and continue to mature as a performer”

As we all researched and know that South Korea has the highest suicide rate among the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development nations. About 26 percent of young youths attempted suicide in the year 2021 in South Korea which is huge. Apart from this, we are deeply saddened by the uncertain demise of the popular pop star, Moon Bin, and may his soul rest in paradise.
