Tina Turner was dead in her home due to illness at the age of 83. She stated in an interview that she wanted to be known as the “Queen of Rock n Roll”.
Tina Turner is no more now. The saddest news about Tina’s demise came on Wednesday. Turner died due to illness at the age of 83 as she was not well. Though, she made history as the world lost a music legend and a role model.
Furthermore, the sources stated that she was found dead in her home in Küsnach near Zurich, Switzerland. A legendary rock ‘n’ roll singer was known by everyone around the world due to her hit songs like The Best, Proud Mary, Private Dancer and What’s Love Got to Do With It.
Similarly, many people especially her close ones and fans paid tribute to the late Turner expressing their grief after her demise. They explained what role she played in their life when she was alive. Likewise, Tina’s close friends Sir Mick Jagger, Sir Elton John, Diana Ross, Bette Midler, and Giorgio Armani wrote their feelings after the death.
First of all, Sir Mick Jagger stated, “he was truly an enormously talented performer and singer. She was inspiring, warm, funny and generous. She helped me so much when I was young and I will never forget her”.
Meanwhile, Sir Elton also posted a sweet picture of him with Turner saying, “We have lost one of the world’s most exciting and electric performers. A total legend on record and on stage. She was untouchable. Condolences to Erwin and her family. The saddest news”.

Tina’s close pal, Giorgio Armani also expressed his feelings towards Turner by saying, “I heard the passing of Tina Turner with sadness and disbelief: with her incredible energy she seemed eternal. Her music certainly is.” In addition, he said, “I will miss a great friend, whom I have also had the pleasure to dress many times. In life, she was like she was on stage – pure energy.”

Moreover, when the host of The Guardian asked her what frightens her as she is getting older and older day by day. As a reply, Tina Turner said nothing makes her anxious and also stated,
“This is life’s full adventure and I embrace and accept every day with what it brings.”
Tina on the other hand began her career in the late 1950s where she was singing with Ike Turner and his band, the Kings of Rhythm. She tied the knot with Ike Turner but didn’t last together forever. As Tina Turner accused Mr. Turner of being abusive. Not only this, but she also shared in her biography “My Love Story” that,
“My relationship with Ike was doomed the day he figured out I was going to be his moneymaker. He needed to control me, economically and psychologically, so I could never leave him.”

Despite this, Tina Turner’s demise news shocked everyone but she was battling with her illness for a few years. She was diagnosed with intestinal cancer in the year 2016. Also, she had her kidney transplant in the year 2017. So, she was in pain for these recent years. We are deeply saddened by knowing the death of music legend Tina Turner and may her soul rest in peace.
