Anthony Frank ‘Tony’ Hawk is an American skateboarder, entrepreneur, and the founder of Birdhouse Skateboarding. Frank Peter Rupert Hawk and Nancy Hawk had him on March 12th, 1968.

He founded his skateboarding brand, ‘BirdHouse,’ with his fellow countryman Per Welinder. The business struggled to make ends meet in its early years.

On July 27, 1999, he completed the feat. In 1999, he released the ‘Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater video game series. It is based on his skateboarding. To date, 18 titles in the series have been released.

He founded the Boom Boom HuckJam extreme sports tour in 2002. After he stopped competing, it began to require shape.

He founded the Tony Hawk Foundation, which has developed many parks. He’s used this to fund the construction of several public skateboard parks in low-income neighborhoods.
