Ryan Seacrest’s great start!

American TV and radio host Ryan Seacrest kicked off his live show with Kelly Ripa called ‘Live with Kelly and Ryan’ on 6abc at 9 am. In spite of the fact that these two TV anchors have never worked with each other any time before, their chemistry on the program was great.

It never appeared that they were co-hosting the show the first time. Alicia Vitarelli visited the pair on the show. In order to enhance their viewership, the two hosts even took to broadcasting their walk down the famous hallway live on ‘Facebook Live’. Ryan’s co-host Kelly said:

“What’s interesting is when you do a live Facebook or a live Instagram or anything like that, you can take questions in real time that pop up,” 

Ryan quickly added:

“And one of the most compelling was ‘What color nail polish is Kelly is wearing today?’,” 

The comfort between Ryan and Kelly gets rubbed on to others and is quite contagious. There is also a live studio audience there who get the privilege of getting hugs, loves, high fives and selfies during the show. The feel is so real that you feel that you too are hanging out with them and having coffee on the show in the morning. Nothing is pretentious! The pair has been friends for long and shares a mutual admiration for each other. Kelly said of Ryan:

“Ryan is somebody that I’ve admired his entire career. He’s such a hard worker and he’s not lost his humanity and you know what I mean when I say that, he has not lost his humanity,”

Ryan Seacrest’s career

Ryan Seacrest has a smooth sailing in his career; not denying the fact that he has worked hard for it. He had a keen interest in the broadcasting industry since childhood as also revealed by his mother Constance Marie to ‘Atlanta Journal Constitution’. She had said:

“Instead of playing with G.I. Joes or Cowboys and Indians, Ryan would always have a little microphone and do shows in the house.”

While still at high school, Ryan Seacrest, fortunately, won an internship at WSTR (FM) in Atlanta with Tom Sullivan. Ryan used to do radio shows at the local Athens station while studying journalism at the University. In 1993, Ryan hosted the ESPN’s Radical Outdoor Challenge and three kids’ games.

He also hosted several game shows. In 2000, he also went on to host the ‘NBC Saturday Night Movie’.

He also ventured into reality TV shows and successfully hosted them. In 2002, he took up hosting the ABC channel’s ‘Americaan Idol’ show. This was his biggest break since with this anchoring job, he became a household name. He used to receive an exorbitant amount for this hosting and was one of the highest paid TV personalities. In July 2017, it has been officially announced that he would also host American Idol’s reboot!

Ryan has also hosted some New Year Eve’s for ABC. He also substituted for Larry King on his CNN show. He also efficiently anchored Fox’s ‘Knock Knock Live’. He also doing ‘On Air with Ryan Seacrest’. In 2008, Ryan launched his Ryan Productions. Ryan Seacrest is also the producer of ‘Keeping with the Kardashians’, and its spin-offs and a ton of other programs.

Ryan Seacrest’s romantic life

With so much activity going on in his career front, one wonders about the status of his relationships? He is said to be in a happy space with his much younger girlfriend, Shayna Taylor, 26. She is a Chef and the two intermittently spend time together. On August 20, 2017, the couple was seen taking a stroll through Beverly Hills. Ryan and Shayna had restarted dating in 2016 after their split in December 2014.

Before Shayna, Ryan was with dancer Julianne Hough from April 2010 till their breakup in March 2013. Julianne Hough has gone on to marry ice hockey player Brooks Laich this year.
