He was announced as the host of a new morning radio show on the Infinity Broadcasting network in October 2005. Adam’s new show would replace the popular Howard Stern Show in which Stern had been broadcast including Los Angeles, San Francisco, Portland, Phoenix, and San Diego.

His new show, The Adam Carolla Show was debuted in January 2006.

Adam was observed by the actor Gerard Butler in early 2008, in which Gerard was planning to prepare him the role in ‘The Ugly Truth’.

His show was canceled on February 18, 2009, due to a format shift at the flagship station KLSX.and the final show was aired on February 20, 2009.

He claimed on May 18, 2011, that The Adam Carolla Show had taken the Guinness World Record for the most downloaded podcast ever from Ricky Gervais. He claimed that the show received 59,547,843 unique downloads from March 2009 to March 16, 2011.
