Adam Kinzinger is the Representative of Illinois’ 16th Congressional district. He is a Republican and got elected to the Congress in the year 2010. At that time, he was elected for Illinois’ 11th district and later in 2012 2014, and 2016, he got elected from Illinois’ 16th district of the Congress. He has helped in many reforms of the district and is an important figure in the politics of the area.

Adam first was an intern with US Senator Peter Fitzgerald. In 2003, he joined the Air Force and got his pilot wings. He got international postings and served as a pilot there. He got promoted to the rank of a Major the position which he now holds.

In 2009, after he met a few senior politicians, he worked towards winning the 2010 elections and managed to defeat his rival from the 11th Congressional district of Illinois. Sarah Pain had endorsed him. He defeated the Democrat from the seat and in 2016, he won 100% of the votes. He openly stated in 2016 that he will neither support Donald Trump no Hillary Clinton. He said:

“I’m an American before I’m a Republican. I’m a Republican because I believe that Republicanism is the best way to defend the United States of America… [Trump] throws all of these Republican principles on their head.”

He introduced the bipartisan bill and also worked towards safeguarding the US Congress from external threats and intervention. He signed many acts for the veterans and also against global warming. He is also a member of the Republican Study Committee. His ratings amongst the Republicans is higher and he receives a lot of respect for his views and opinions. He was also for the 2017 GOP Healthcare Bill. He also was in favor of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act 2017. He has also been on Committee of Energy and Commerce and Committee of Foreign Affairs.
