Alicia Witt is an American actress and singer-songwriter. She entered the entertainment industry as a child actress and later was found to also be a music prodigy. She is also a pianist and released her own album in the year 2009. She has made multiple appearances on Hallmark movies.

Alicia Witt has come out with her new EP called 15000 Days. It has a single called Younger in which Alicia has touched on the topic of growing old in the entertainment industry. To support her new EP, she will do some shows in different cities in the US.
She was asked about her belief in God, and Alicia said:

Alicia and her birth and childhood
Alicia Witt was born on 21 August 1975 in Worchester, MA. Her parents are Diane Pietro and Robert Witt. Her mother was a junior high school reading teacher and her father was a science teacher and also a photographer. She also has a brother called Ian. She was considered a child prodigy since she was talking by age two and reading when she was 4. Talking about her schooling, Alicia had said:
“I was homeschooled and received a graduation certificate when I was 14, so for me at high school age, I was partly super mature–playing background music to make a living, so that I could pay my rent in LA where I’d moved from Massachusetts to hopefully work as an actor.”
She had learned to play piano at the Boston University.
Alicia and her career in acting
Alicia Witt was discovered by David Lynch who cast her in his series Twin Peaks. She also starred in 1984 in Dune. She procured a number of small parts on TV and in films. It was her role in the sitcom Cybill that exposed her to a wider audience. The other films in which she appeared were Vanilla Sky, The Twilight Zone, 88 Minutes, The Pond, and Six Love Stories. Her television credits include The Mentalist, Puppy Love, Friday Night Lights, Justified, Nashville, and many more.
In 2018, she played Rosie Bush in Disjointed on TV.
