Vanna White’s birth, early years, and childhood
Vanna White was born as Vanna Marie Rosich on 18 February 1957 in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, the USA. She gained recognition for being the hostess of the popular game show called as Wheel of Fortune. She has been on the show since 1982 that is more than three decades. Her parents were Joan Marie and Miguel Angel Rosich. When Vanna White was less than a year old, her parents had divorced.
Her mother then remarried and Vanna White was adopted by her stepfather Herbert Stackley White Jr. and took his last name. Herbert was a real estate agent in the area.
She is of mixed ethnicity; Puerto Rican, Italian, and German. There is not much information shared on the internet regarding Vanna White’s education and schooling. She was a high school cheerleader. She also has done a course in fashion.
Vanna White’s entertainment career
It looks like that Vanna White was interested in acting and entertainment since her young days. She had participated in the 1978 Miss Georgia beauty pageant. She then appeared on a game show in June 1980 in The Price is Right. She ranked in the first four contestants. When the previous hostess of Wheel of Fortune, Susan Stafford left in October 1982, Vanna White was chosen as one of the three replacements for Susan. In December 1982, she was put as the regular hostess.
In 1987, her pictures in see-through lingerie taken by her boyfriend before she appeared on the Wheel of Fortune were featured in Playboy. The same year, she also wrote her autobiography called as Vanna Speaks! which became the best-seller.
In 1988, Vanna White was cast in the film on NBC called as Goddess of Love. Her acting was graded as the worst by critics. She did some guest appearances on some TV shows such as L.A. Law, 227, Super Mario Bros, Super Show, Simon and Simon, The King of Queens, and Full House. She also did films like Naked Gun 331/3, The Final Insult in 1994, and Double Dragon of 1994. She also was in a horror movie called Graduation Day (1981).
She was the guest timekeeper for Wrestlemania IV. She also served as the main narrator and singer for the ‘Santa’s last ride’. On 20 April 2006, she got the star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Vanna White has also lent her voice to several animated series.

Vanna White’s love life
Vanna White’s dating history is also as interesting as her career. It has a number of ups and downs. She first was in a romantic relationship with dancer-turned-actor John Gibson. This was in the 1980s. The couple dated for many years and ultimately got engaged in 1986. But tragedy struck and John Gibson was killed in a plane crash.
Vanna White then went on to date and marry a restaurant owner named George Santo Pietro. The wedding was solemnized in December 1990. In September 1992, Vanna White announced that she is pregnant while on the Wheel of Fortune Show. However, she suffered a miscarriage. In 1994, she gave birth to a son called Nicholas. In 1997, she had another daughter called Giovanna (Gigi). But later matters turned sour and the couple divorced in November 2002.
She later in 2004 got engaged to businessman Michael Kaye who was the senior partner in a huge leveraged buyout fund based in Southern California. The two however never wed. She then married a contractor named John Donaldson in 2012.
