Sophie Bolen’s Early Life, Birth date, Parents and Family
Sophie Bolen is an American actress who started acting at a young age and went on to bag significant roles in film and theater. She is also a trained and talented singer. She was born in West Michigan on 21 December 1999. Her mother Jane Bolen had seen the love for acting, singing, and dancing in her daughter. She also knew that Sophie possessed the talent and was ever supportive towards her daughter’s dream. Mother Jane once said in an interview:
“Sophie has always been performing in some capacity. When she was little she would set up her Barbies and have them perform on a stage [shoebox] one by one while the rest of the Barbies clapped and cheered. We have a big glass door and Sophie would spend a lot of time dancing and singing in front of it because she could see her reflection.”
Sophie Bolen’s mother is a competitive equestrian. Sophie Bolen is also trained in horse riding and had worked in movie Horse Camp 2: The Horse Dancer which had acting as well as horse riding. Talking about it, Sophie had said:
“I actually am a horse girl myself; in fact, my mom is a retired Quarter Horse trainer, so acting and horses was a match made in heaven. This movie is the second movie in the Horse Camp series. It focuses on what goes on at the Black River Camp for Girls. This movie should be out in about a year. It will go straight to DVD and be in stores such as Meijer, Target, and Walmart.”
Sophie was first discovered by FHC’s theater director Robbin Demeester. She got a role in FHC’s Footloose and she was just 4 years of age at that time. In the next year, Sophie got the role in FHC’s Annie Get your Gun. Seeing her love for acting, her mother put her in acting classes so that she could hone her acting skills. She auditioned for film roles and earned a role in The Christmas Bunny at the age of 9 years. In 2015, Sophie had said:
“When I got the role I honestly could not believe I was going to be in an actual movie. After that first film experience I was hooked. I have worked on many independent films and also some student films for Compass College here in Grand Rapids. I believe in getting as much experience as possible. It’s a great way to learn, meet people and build a resume. I have since been in over 8 feature films, thirteen community theatre roles, music videos, webisodes, short films, commercials and radio shows.”
She got lead roles in Rodeo Girl, A Dog For Christmas, The Dream Collector and Believe Again. She also has acted on stage in a number of popular and great theater dramas.

I would just like to say how awesome it is to see your child’s passion and talents and find ways to let them develop them. My motto has always been to find something you absolutely love to do and do it”
