Jordan and Annie Verret, 25 were at the same high school in Texas. They met during their high school days and soon started dating. So their relationship runs into probably a decade. They were, however, in different colleges for their advanced studies. In December 2017, the couple decided to take their relationship to the next level and got engaged around Christmas time. Jordan gave a press conference in January 2018 and confirmed on his engagement to Annie at that time.
Engagement and marriage
Talking about the proposal, Jordan had said:
“It was nice. My brother was in town and her sister got in town, so we had our families there afterwards and it was a great night, really excited.”
He also talked about how his plan might have been altered due to his illness on the day. He said:
‘I had a decent idea and then I was pretty sick. I had to have a backup plan. But I woke up and felt good that day and went through with it.’
