Thirteen-year-old Anthony Gonzalez is an American teen who has won the hearts of many through his roles in TV series The Bridge in 2014 and Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders in 2017. He also voiced the character of the lead actor of the Pixar animated film called Coco.
Anthony Gonzalez-birth and childhood
Anthony Gonzalez is 13 years of age now and he was born on 23 September 2004 in Los Angeles, CA. He has been active in this career from the year 2012 and had always wanted to be an artist from his childhood days. He had the full support of his Mexican family in it. Talking about his parents, Anthony Gonzalez had said:
“My parents have always been there for me. Without them I would not be in a Disney-Pixar film.”

Anthony started as a singer early in life. He used to sing mariachi with his family at the El Mercado de Los Angeles. He has participated in singing competitions in LA, Mexico as well as in Miami. In 2014, he was cast as a young boy in The Bridge.
He bagged a role of Bruno in a short film called Imagination of Young in the year 2015. In 2017, he also was cast in an episode of Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders as Polaroid.
Anthony and his breakthrough role
Anthony got to work with Disney and Pixar and he was extremely happy about it. He has voiced the character of Miguel Rivera in Coco which is an animated film by Pixar and released in 2017. In 2018, Anthony played the role of Oscar in Icebox. He also was a solo singer # 11 in The Gospel Truth in 2018.
Recalling how he got the offer for Pixar movie Coco, Anthony said:
“I auditioned for Coco when I was nine years old, and I had no idea I was auditioning for a Disney/Pixar movie. When I was 10, they told me that it was going to be a Disney/Pixar movie and I was just mind-blown, I was so shocked and thankful that I was going to Pixar. There, it’s just amazing, it’s paradise there, it’s so cool.”

Anthony was also nominated for many awards and has also won many of them. He got the Washington DC Area Film Critics Association award in 2017 for his best-animated voice performance in Coco. He also won an Annie award for the same in 2018.
