The Big Dawg, Antoine Carr, was born on July 23, 1961, in Oklahoma City. Regarding his parents, Antoine has kept it to himself. However, Joann Carr is known to be his mother.

Antoine and Valentine played basketball together in high school. They were close friends and enjoyed playing games together.

Playing for Antoine Car’s Wichita Heights High School for four years. He was also chosen by the Detroit Pistons in the first round of the draft.

Antoine Carr | Career

During his time in high school, Antoine played sports for the Wichita Heights High School squad. One of his brothers, Henry Carr, played high school sports as well.

Henry was chosen in the first round by none other than the Los Angeles Clippers in 1987.

He played basketball for the Wichita State Shockers from 1979 to 1983. In 1983, he also started his professional career.

The Detroit Pistons chose Antoine’s car as their number 8 in the opening round. Nevertheless, he declined the offer and flew to Italy to sign with the illustrious Simac Milano.

Antoine also had a significant impact on Simac Milano in the 1983–1984 season.

Return to NBA

He also represents the Atlanta Hawks for the remaining six seasons.

He also joins the Sacramento Kings for the 1989–1990 campaign.

Antoine averaged 20 points per game while playing as a starter for the Sacramento Kings. He also led Sacramento in scoring that season with 1,551 points. Overall, it was one of his most fruitful scoring seasons.

He additionally played for the San Antonio Spurs. Antoine led the team in field goal percentage. He also participated in a memorable first-round matchup against the Utah Jazz in 1994.
