A year later, in 2018, he was relocated once more to compete for the Gwinnett Stripers. Austin and the Atlanta Braves eventually reached a major league agreement in May 2019.
Throughout his gaming career, Austin garnered several titles and notable awards. He first became eligible for pay arbitration following the 2022 season, after all of the games had been played.
Injuries
In August 2019, Austin suffered one of the game’s injuries: a severely sprained LCL in his right knee. After an incident in the weight room at the time, he was injured and required 10 days on the disabled list.
Fortunately, he did not suffer any severe injuries and did not require surgery. In January 2022, he suffered his latest recent injury while playing against the Giants.
