Kefera Buchmann’s full name is Kefera Buchmann de Mattos Johnson Pereira. Kefera means ‘first-morning sunshine’ and is of Egyptian origin.

She was born on 25^th January 1993 in Curitiba, Parana, Brazil. She was raised up as a Catholic and completed her primary and secondary education at Curitiba. Her mother, Zeiva Buchmann works in advertising. Her father is Oidovi Buchmann.

She was not sure whether she should pursue dentistry, chemical engineering or psychology. She ultimately went on to train herself in the field of acting. She studied theater for 5 years. In 2013, she completed her studies with good scores.

Kefera is good in Portuguese as well as English. While at school, Kefera was bullied. Talking about this, Kefera had once said:

“I hated going to school. I cried every day. And blamed me for growing (both chronologically and to the sides). I thought that if I wasn’t getting older, I wouldn’t have to face school. I wished I could stay in kindergarten forever. And I did not know what to expect.“

Kefera Buchmann did some English teaching during the start of her career. While studying acting, Kefera started her own YouTube channel called ‘5inco Minutos’ in 2010. She uploads comedy and music parody videos. It was the first female channel from Brazil to reach the mark of 1 million subscribers. Since the year 20011, Kefera also entered the field of Vlogging.

She posts random videos on a daily basis. Her videos are admired by the masses and this channel has collected more than 10 million subscribers.

Her channel has more than 866 million total views. She was elected as the most promising young female from the country of Brazil by Forbes in 2016.

Since 2015, Kefera is doing a web series called as ‘Kefera Viaja’ in which she is seen traveling around the world. In 2016, she has also done Trilogy sports videos for ‘Adidas’.
