Professional Life and Career
Talking about his career, he started his professional NHL career in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft with the Vancouver Canucks signed a three-year contract.
On March 25, 2017, he made his NHL debut in his home state of Minnesota and scored his first NHL goal in the 4–2 win. In the same year, he was named the league’s Rookie of the Month for November after leading all skaters (not just rookies) with 11 goals in 15 games.
Further, he was named the 2018 NHL All-Star Game’s the Most Valuable Player with two goals and assists in two games and became the first rookie to do so since Mario Lemieux in 1985. He also became the winner of the 2018 accuracy shooting contest by hitting all five targets in a time of 11.136 seconds.
Boeser was injured when he collided with Cal Clutterbuck and the Canucks bench in a game against the New York Islander on 5 March 2018. After recovery from his injury, he joins the Canucks for the 2018-19 season. He collected 11 points in 13 games.
International Career
Boeser played first at the 2014 Ivan Hlinka Tournament with the U.S. National Junior Team. His first tournament sanctioned by the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) was the 2016 World Junior Championships where he was able to collect 3 points in seven games and won a bronze medal for the US. However, due to his injury, he missed the 2017 World Junior Championships.
