Calvin was born as Adam Richard Wiles in Dumfries, Scotland on 17 January 1984. His father David was a biochemist whereas his mother Pamela was a homemaker. He is the youngest with two older siblings: a sister Sophie and brother Edward. He was a student of Dumfries High School. In order to get the apparatus for DJ, he did odd jobs such as work in a supermarket and local fish processing factory.
