Golden State Warriors

But they were defeated in three games by the Chicago Bulls, who were coached by Michael Jordan. Although Webber had proven himself as a formidable power forward by 1998, his time in Washington had also run its course.
Sacramento Kings
Webber averaged 23 points and 11 rebounds per game the next season. He was mentioned as a potential MVP candidate and was selected to his sixth straight All-Star team. Webber’s absence from the All-Star game due to an ankle sprain was a bad harbinger of things to come.

Philadelphia 76ers, and Injuries
A power forward named Kenny Thomas, a forward/center named Brian Skinner, and a former King named Corliss Williamson was acquired by the Philadelphia 76ers in exchange.
The exchange was for Webber, Michael Bradley, and Matt Barnes in February 2005. After Allen Iverson, Webber was the second scoring option for the 76ers attack, and it took him some time to get used to it.
