Maribel Aber entered into this profession in 2000 and was first with the National Association of Securities Dealers, Inc. (current FINRA) and was dealing more with securities regulation. She then took the post of an associate director of global sales and member services with NASDAQ in 2000. In 2001, she was promoted to chief of staff for the Vice Chairman of NASDAQ. She got the post of Vice President of the NASDAQ’s Market site. She was put in charge of the seven-story tower and broadcast studio.
This was a great responsibility but Maribel Aber shouldered it excellently. Maribel set up new partnerships during her tenure there and formed the world’s largest outdoor digital display system with Reuters Group Limited in Times Square.
She also started her TV career and started hosting the finance-related talk and discussion shows. She used to also contribute to TV shows such as ‘The Better Show’. She also was with the publishing departments of various magazines such as ‘Better Homes and Gardens’. She hosted the Wall Street Week and was also entertainment host at The Broadway Channel. She was also a freelance host with AOL, MSN and with such channels.
