Colin Farrell stated that he had a panic attack while shooting his new movie, “Thirteen Lives”. He explained the problem he faced in Entertainment Tonight at the film’s premiere.
Colin Farrell almost gave up while filming underwater scenes. On Thursday, at the “Thirteen Lives” movie premiere, he stated that the shoot was terrifying and he had a panic attack. Similarly, he described his experience in “Entertainment Tonight”. The movie is directed by Ron Howard and shows the real-life 2018 rescue of a dozen young boys and their soccer coach trapped in the flooded Tham Luang cave in Thailand.
Additionally, Colin described his experience by saying,
“I didn’t have a great time filming “Thirteen Lives. Terrifying in a word. Terrifying.”
Further, he said that the scenes were tough for him as he had to go under the water. He also stated that he doesn’t know that much about swimming. Moreover, Farrell said,
“It was scary. I’m not a great swimmer anyway, not that we were swimming, not that we were treading water — we had to stay on the surface — but they built a really impressive network of caves.”

Not only this he also said,
“It was about four or five different caves that were based on the topography of the caves, the Tham Luang caves in Thailand, and they filled them full of water, and we’d go down and there was no up.”

In “Thirteen lives” movie, Colin Farrell plays the role of rescue diver, John Volanthen. Similarly, the “Batman” star also talked about his whole situation while he was in the river. He explained that he was not able to see the water’s surface and that was a horrifying moment for him.
Though, he calls this a “new experience” but not a good one. Colin also said that he had pain attacks underwater. Also, he stated,
“So when you can’t and there’s actually a ceiling over your head, and there’s no air at all, it just wreaks havoc on my mind”

On the other hand, Farrell explained that all the underwater scenes made him scared and never want to do again feeling instead of improving his aquatic abilities. According to Farrell,
“I had panic attacks underwater, that’s a new experience. A panic attack underwater is a new experience for me.”
However, the Irish actor stated that the whole experience as a rescue diver is “a very particular skill set.”

Not only Colin but his co-star Viggo Mortensen also explained his experience throughout the shootings. Viggo plays the role of a real-life hero, Richard Stanton in the “Thirteen Lives” movie. Likewise, according to Mortensen, he struggled with the scenes as well. Moreover, on Thursday at the premiere of the movie, he said,
“All of a sudden I couldn’t breathe. It seemed like a long time, but it was only a matter of seconds. I panicked.”
Also, Viggo said that the task wasn’t that tough when you listen or see from the outside. But when are into it doing the thing you will realize it’s not that easy.
