Connor Franta is an American YouTube personality, an entertainer, a writer, and an entrepreneur. He was born on 12th September 1992 in Wisconsin, USA. His father, Peter Franta is a physician by profession while his mother Cheryl Franta is a homemaker. After Connor Franta was born, his family migrated to La Crescent, Minnesota.
This Catholic boy has two brothers named Dustin and Brandon and a sister called Nicola. He studied at St. Peter’s Catholic School, Hokah, Minnesota up to his 8th grade. Later he shifted to La Crescent High School from where he graduated in 2011.
Connor Franta was quite fat in his early childhood. To overcome his obesity, his mother enrolled him in swimming classes and other sports. Connor also participated in the cross country race and also contested in swimming competitions. He started learning the business at the Saint John’s University, Collegeville, Minnesota. He added arts as a minor in his sophomore year and stressed on films in this study.

Connor had an interest in making videos for YouTube. He was deeply inspired by Shane Dawson and Mitchell Davis. In August 2010, Connor loaded his first video on his YouTube channel. Gradually he started loading more encouraged by the fact that his videos were liked and subscribed by many viewers.
His channel started growing in popularity and currently, it has more than 5.58 million subscribers and 355 million total views. In 2012, he became a part of Our2ndLife YouTube channel along with Kian Lawley, JC Caylen, Ricky Dillon, Trevor Moran, and Sam Pottorff. This boosted his popularity. In July 2014, citing personal issues, he segregated himself from this channel.
He was successful in raising funds for his fundraising campaign called ‘The Thirst Project’ for arranging water for the people of Swaziland.
