Cree Summer was born on 7 July 1969 in Los Angeles, California. Her current age is 49. She was raised at the Red Pheasant Reserve in Saskatchewan. Her father is a Canadian actor cum musician Don Francks. Her mother Lili Red Eagle is an African-American from North Richmond, California.
Part of her childhood was spent in British Columbia. She commenced her schooling in a public school in Toronto. She has a brother named Rainbow Sun Francks who is a VJ at MuchMusic Channel. She holds both Canadian and American citizenship.

Cree Summer’s career
Cree debuted as niece Penny in Inspector Gadget in 1983. She has a distinctive throaty voice which came to the attention of fans and casting agents. They then started giving her work as a voice-in various animated series. These series were part of prestigious franchises which gave a lot of fame.
From 1988 to 1993, she became a regular cast member of the show A Different World. While doing this show, she also continued as a voice-over actress. She also appeared in Sweet Justice in 1994. She also had guest appearances on other TV shows and series.
Her main work has been in voice acting. She voiced the character of sweet and helpful Chilly Cooper in the cartoon series The Real GhostBusters. She has lent her voice to animated films, commercials, cartoon TV series, and video games.

Around 101 animated characters were voiced by Cree from 1983 to 2006. She has a long list of video games in which she performed her voice. Her voice has remained and sounds young despite her growing age. She had once said in an interview:
“I was an only child for 10 years, I didn’t start school until 8, and I didn’t have a TV for years. So I found all these voices when playing with my toys. They’re my toys’ voices. Schizophrenia comes in handy.”
Cree has been singing at a young age and joined a band at the age of 13 years. She had given the theme song for 1985’s OWL/TV. She has also given background vocals for fellow singers’ songs and LPs. She released her album in 1993 but due to creative differences with her, the records label (Capitol Records) distributed them as a promotion.
Her solo album Street Faërie was of moderate success. She also recorded a song called Saviour Self which was never commercially available. There are singing acts in her voice-over roles.

Cree Summer’s relationship, boyfriend, marriage, husband, and daughter
Cree Summer was dating American actor, writer, and director Kadeem Hardison in the 1980s for a long time. They split later but the reason for this breakup is not known. Later Cree dated and married Angelo Pullen.
She has two daughters named Brave Littlewing (born March 2011) and Hero Peregrine (born February 2013) with him. During her second pregnancy, she had let the world know about it using a picture and a tweet that read:
“Brave is 20 Months old and I am 7 months pregnant with her Lil sister,”
Her two daughters did the voice-over in November 2016 for Disney’s Vamprina and her proud mother could not wait to tell everyone about it on her Instagram.
