Creed Bratton is an American actor and musician who was with the musical band called The Grass Roots from 1967 to 1968. he gained recognition for playing a fictional character with a similar name as him in NBC’s The Office.

Creed Bratton is from Los Angeles. His real name is William Charles Schneider and he was born in 1943 on 8 February which makes him 75 years old now. He was raised in Coarsegold in California. His father died an accidental death when the airplane he was repairing in Hawaii burst.
He had a family background in music since his grandparents, father, and mother were all musicians.
He developed a taste for music naturally and at age 13 ordered his first guitar. He took to professional singing and making music in his high school days. He attended College of the Sequoia and later job Ed the California State University in Sacramento.

He changed his name and embarked on a global excursion and was a traveling musician. He traveled extensively to Africa, Europe, and the Middle East. He played at a folk music festival in Israel with his guitar. American Warren Enter watched him play there and asked him to call him on his return.
The two formed a partnership and recruited more members to form a band which they named as The Grass Roots. Their first song Let’s live for today released in 1967 became a hit. More songs were produced and liked by the masses.
They toured the US for promotions. Creed also co-workers and self-composed many songs. He was the lead vocalist on some of the songs. Many of the band’s songs charted high and became highly popular. They played at several festivals. There were some differences between Creed and the band and he left it in 1969.

It was as late as 1979 that Creed took to acting. He debuted with films Mask and Heart like a wheel. He was also cast in Emmy and The Office both on NBC. He also starred in Labor Pains in 2009.
He was also seen in The Bernie Mac Show as the funeral home employee. He acted in Liz and Dick, I am Ben, Terri, Saving Lincoln, Comedy Bang! Bang!, and Band of Robbers. In the latter, he was cast as Dobbins.

He has one daughter named Annie but it is not known with which wife of Creed Annie is born. Her grandparents are William Frank Schneider and Cozzette Schneider Ertmoed. Creed and his first wide had 15 dogs and admitting it, Creed said:
“I did! I did. I had white German shepherds. We sold them. My wife Jo Ann and I would raise them when they were puppies. We made good money selling those dogs. They were great. We loved them. We had lots of offsets, too. There are lots of offsets in white German shepherds. (Laughs) The shepherds had problems. The white shepherds. They were beautiful animals, obviously, but there were some problems with inbreeding. Not really a good thing.”
