For the Democratic nomination and Hillary Clinton’s general election campaign, In 2016, Hunt covered the Republican primary campaign, Bernie Sanders’ bid.
In 2014, she traveled the country interviewing congressional candidates and senators for the “States of Play” midterm election series that aired on Morning Joe.
Previously Kasie Hunt covered Mitt Romney’s 2012 presidential campaign. Hunt wrote about the 2010 midterm elections for POLITICO.

Kasie Hunt began her career in journalism from January 2005 as an intern in the political unit intern of NBC News, Washington D.C. Metro Area. She worked for five years and left NBC in May 2005.
Hunt’s early life
Kasie Hunt is the elder of two daughters of Bruce Hunt (father), manager of real estate design. And construction of Penn Medicine and Krista Hunt(mother), a yoga teacher in Easton. Her younger sister, Carly Hunt is a former golfer. Kasie was born on 25 May 1985 in Wayne, PA.
In international affairs, Hunt holds a bachelor’s degree from George Washington University. And a master’s degree in sociology from the University of Cambridge, where she was a member of St John’s College.
As a health policy reporter for National Journal’s CongressDaily her earlier career began. Her first job in journalism was as an intern in the NBC News political unit.

A senior digital producer of “Meet the Press” Matthew Mario Rivera and NBC News Capitol Hill correspondent Kasie Hunt tied the knot on 6 May 2017.
They got married in a non-denominational ceremony at Shenandoah Woods, a lodge, and retreat in Stanley, Va. Marian Sieke. They met for the first time in NBC News in Washington.
They were so happy with one another that she knew he is the one with whom she wants to spend the rest of her life.
Hunt tells us,
“We were so touched that so many of our friends and family were willing to make the trek out to spend a weekend celebrating away from all the noise and distraction of our crazy lives in journalism,”
