Dana Loesch is a bold American conservative political activist and commentator. She is a spokesperson for the National Rifle Association(NRA). There were movements like #MeToo and #TimesUp and many ladies shared how they were sexually harassed or said they have been sexually abused forcefully.

So, on Women’s Day(March 8th), NRA has shared a powerful video featuring Dana, where she is spreading a message to all the women to empower herself and to be able to self-defend. She said,

Dana was born on 28 September 1978, in Dallas, Texas, United States. She was born to Gale Eaton, her mother in an extended family. She was raised by a single mother hence there is no information on her father. She is of Irish ethnicity.

Why did Dana drop out of college?

Dana attended Fox High School which is located in Arnold, Missouri. Later she went to St. Louis Community College at Meramec. Then she was transferred to Webster University as she got a scholarship in journalism.

While she was studying at Webster University, she worked in Bill Clinton’s reelection campaign as she was a Democrat. She then started having an affair with Chris Loesch while she was still studying in college. He is a writer, music producer as well as Dana’s manager. Then when she was just in her early 20’s, she became pregnant with him before she could complete her studies.

After she knew that she is pregnant, she dropped out of college and she had her first baby when she was 21 years of age.

Dana is married to her college sweetheart, Chris Loesch. They fell in love while they were studying in college and had their first child before marriage. The couple then decided to get married on 28 October 2000.

Homeschooled her children

Dana homeschooled her sons until 2014. When her eldest son finished his seventh standard, she sent him to the school. She said that homeschooling her children was a full-time job. She and her husband researched a lot of schools to send his son to that particular school. According to her experience to search school for her son, she said,

“I hope people will learn to question your educators. These people do not own your children. You do not relinquish your role as a sovereign parent of this child, of your child, just because they cross the school’s threshold. I hope that parents maybe take my insanity and use it in their own way and really take a pro-active role in questioning.”
