She has a brother named Jax Hilliker and a half-brother called Jett Newman. Kalani Hilliker’s mother had enrolled her at the dance academy because she thought that it would be fun to dress up her daughter in long skirts and tutus.

Abby Lee Miller was thoroughly impressed by Kalani’s dance moves and invited her mother and her to the Abby Lee Dance Academy’s ‘Dance Moms’ season 4.
