Daniel Sharman’s role in Vampire Diaries as Kol Mikelson
Famous ‘Teen Wolf’ actor was part of The originals in season 2. His popularity began rising after his role as Issac Lahey in the MTV supernatural drama series Teen Wolf and later landed the role in another supernatural series where he portrayed a charming witch named Kaleb. In the season premiere, he was part of the series with a guy who has dark past with family history.
Intent on wreaking havoc, wooing women and causing as much chaos as possible, Kol Mikelson possessing Kaleb Westphall has some dark family upbringing who covers his wounds with a sense of humor, as well as wicked temper. His character is bad but eventually, you will fall in love with him. His new gig on The Originals reunites him with Joseph Morgan, as the British actors both starred in the 2011 hit film Immortals.
About his Teen Wolf character as well it was revealed that Daniel will not be returning to the show as executive producer Jeff Davis revealing Sharman asked to be written off the show.
David explained:
“He specifically asked that we not kill off Isaac, so that he could have the chance to return. He said he loved the role so much that he wanted to be able to come back if there was a chance. But he was in a position where he wanted to stretch his creative wings and I said to him, ‘Well if we can’t convince you to come back, we’ll definitely leave the door open for you.'”
Daniel Sharman’s Relationship Status
Daniel Sharman is not in any kind of relationship as of now but he has quite interesting past with famous personality. He was in a relationship with his co-star from Teen Wolf Crystal Reed. The stars started dating during season 2 of the series in 2011 and went with the relationship for two years. The couple seemed happy and in love but around 2013, both stars headed different ways and called their quits due to some internal problems between them.
During Helmut Newton Exhibition Opening in L.A. Crystal revealed about their relationship and her trip to Paris.
“I went by myself and it was cold, but it was still really, really beautiful,” she told Us of the trip. “I was just getting over a breakup, so it was something that just jumps started my singleness.”

“In Paris, [the night life] is so communal,” she added. “It’s good.”
But Daniel has not spoken about their relationship after the split.
In the same year, Daniel started dating Gigi Hadid who is currently in a relationship with Zayn Malik. Two of them were seen together for a while but never confirmed their relationship status. It just seems like it was a casual hook up as it didn’t last long and they separated in the same year.
