She is the daughter of Danny Bradbery and Gloria Redden Martinez. She has an older sister named Monica Bradbery. Danielle along with her sister was raised in Cypress, Texas.

On June 18, 2013, she was declared the winner of season four, becoming the first country artist to win The Voice. She sang the song “Timber, I’m Falling in Love” at the finals along with her coach Blake Shelton.
