Danny Fujikawa is the latest boyfriend of Kate Hudson, 38, and her unborn child’s baby daddy.

Kate Hudson announced in April 2018 via Instagram that she is pregnant with her boyfriend Danny Fujikawa’s baby.  She had posted a video to that effect on her Instagram. She also revealed the gender of the child in this lengthy post and said:

“…A little girl on the way.”

She also wrote:

“My kids, Danny, myself and the entire family are crazy excited!,” 

Kate has two children; Ryder who is 14 is from her relationship with Chris Robinson and Bingham who is 6 is from her relationship with Matt Bellamy. The couple, Danny and Kate Hudson have started dating more than a year ago and this is their first child together.

The couple knows each other for over 15 years though they made their red carpet debut and announced their relationship in May last year.

The couple had met through Kate’s best friends, Sara and Erin Foster. She said:

“We’ve known each other for 15 years. He’s my best friend’s stepbrother. We kinda skipped through the part of knowing what the hiccups were. You kinda skip the part of going, ‘Oh, you’re like that?’”

She continued:

“In terms of family, I’ve known his family forever. To have that connection is really powerful.”

On October 3, Kate announced that she has given birth to a daughter named Rani Rose Hudson Fujikawa.

“We have decided to name our daughter Rani (pronounced Ronnie) after her grandfather, Ron Fujikawa. Ron was the most special man who we all miss dearly. To name her after him is an honor.”

“Everyone is doing well and happy as can be. Our family thanks you for all the love and blessings that have been sent our way and we send ours right back.”

Danny is also a musician like Kate’s previous paramours. He is the former lead singer and worked as a guitarist for the LA-based folk-rock band Chief. This band he had co-founded with his brother Michael. The band had disbanded amicably and continues to be friends. On 30 April 2018, Danny had uploaded a throwback picture of his bandmates and this made many feel that the band is making a comeback. We may have to wait and watch to know about it!

Danny and his early life

Danny was born on 10 June 1986 and his age is 32 years now. Danny has two brothers, and they are called Brady and Michael. All three of them were raised in Los Angeles. Danny is partly Japanese. He often puts up pictures of his Japanese father and grandparents whom he calls “Ojisan and Obachan,” which means grandfather and grandmother respectively in the Japanese language. He has also admitted to his Japanese roots on social media.

Danny has studied at theNew York University which he had joined in 2004. He had started learning music at this esteemed university but he did not complete his study for some reason and dropped out in the year 2005. He was not very interested in the school and has said that his main activities at that time were “bartending at Lit lounge, lots of walking, and not going to school.”
