DcYoungFly has made a name for himself as an American rapper, actor, comedian and a singer. He is best known for his vine,  MTV’s Wild ‘n Out appearances and as MTV’s TRL host. Read on to get the facts on the famous young rapper.

The date of birth of DcYoungFly is on born May 2, 1992. As we can assume, DcYoungFly is not his real name. His birth name is John Whitfield and his birth took place in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. He was raised on the west side of town called  Adamsville neighborhood.

John got his primary education from Benjamin E. Mays High School. In his school days, he was known as a class clown.

A tragedy struck in his life in 2011 that changed the course of his life. His brother was murdered. After this tragic event, he got into rapping. To remember his brother by he got a D.C. (Da Crew) tattoo on his forehead as Da Crew was the stage name of his brother. John’s late brother was also a rapper.
