Ed Henry was born in Queens, New York on 20 July 1971 and his age is 47. There is no information available about his parents, family, or siblings. Ed first started work with the newspaper columnist Jack Anderson. In 2003, Ed started doing the political analysis for the WMAL Morning News and also for The Chris Core Show. These were local radio shows on WMAL. For 8 years, Ed also worked for Capitol Hill and wrote their column called Heard on the Hill. He used to also contribute to Washingtonian. He was also a member on the Board of Associate Trustees of the Siena College from 2011-2012.

He also worked as a moderator on the show Inside Politics of CNN and was on the job when in 2005 Robert Novak had stormed the set during a live discussions session with James Carville. Ed continued with James during the remaining time of the show.
He covered the White House for the CNN from March 2006 and earned a promotion in December 2008. He was the sole senior correspondent at the White House. He covered many vital stories during this time which included the Hawaiian holiday of Barack Obama, Rush Limbaugh’s hospitalization for chest pain, and the 2010 Las Vegas courthouse shooting.
Ed Henry and his move to the Fox News Channel
Ed left CNN and joined Fox News Channel in 2011. He was made the Chief White House Correspondent. It is said that CNN had already told Ed that his contract would not be renewed. However, Ed spoke to Don Imus and said that Fox News Channel is similar to perennial baseball contenders. He said:
“I root for the Yankees, so I like to play for a first-place team. Now, technically the Yankees are not in first place right now, I have to admit, they’re a game behind the Red Sox. But there’s no doubt about where Fox is”,

During the 2012 Democratic National Convention, Ed further praised Fox News Channel. He said:
“It is my first convention with Fox, and I am excited, the move has been great. I feel like I have so much freedom here, it is exciting and the numbers don’t lie. We are no longer competing with other cable networks, we are competing with big three and beating them.”
