Eddie Vedder is the lead vocalist and one of four guitarists of the rock band Pearl Jam. Similarly, he has a problem with his throat and can’t perform in the show. On July 20, in Vienna last night Pearl Jam was launching the concert and as usual, Eddie was the lead vocalist. Many fans and followers of Vedder bought the tickets as well.
Unfortunately, Pearl Jam has to cancel and show and apologizes to the people who were very excited to join the concert. Additionally, on the official Instagram and Twitter accounts of Pearl Jam, they posted saying sorry to the people. Further, the caption of the post is,
“To all those who were anticipating a great Pearl Jam show tonight in Vienna, we were too. However, due to the extreme circumstances at the last outdoor site outside of Paris (heat, dust, and smoke from the fires) our singer Ed Vedder’s throat was left damaged. He has seen doctors and had treatment but as of yet, his vocal cords have not recovered.”
Also, they added by stating,
“This is brutal news and horrible timing…for everyone involved. Those who work so hard to put on the shows as well as those who give their precious time and energies to attend….”

On the other hand, they also stated that the fund they received for the tickets will be refunded now. And, Pearl Jam also apologizes for all the circumstances the team and the audience have to bear.
“As a band, we are deeply sorry and have tried to find options to still play. And Ed wants to play. There’s just no throat available at this time…So very, very deeply sorry. Tickets will be refunded at point of purchase.”
Lastly, they thanked the people for understanding the problem and fluently dealing with it.

This time also show got canceled like before. When bassist Jeff Ament tested positive for COVID the show didn’t go further. Now, Eddie’s throat will take time to recover. However, a Pearl Jam fan was recently kicked out of the band’s gig in Zurich. the reason for the fight was starting a fight with another attendee.

“Turn the lights on, please,” he said. “Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey – I saw the whole thing, I know, it was annoying you. You were bummed out ’cause he was filming the whole time. Has it been the whole show or just now? Just now when I came over? Was it the whole time? Yeah, you’re filming everyone.”
