Erica Hill and her previous career
Erica Hill started her journalism career in 1998 when she became the production assistant for ‘PC Work Radio’. She was also the conference coordinator for Software Publishers Association Europe. She was with TechTV from 2000 to 2003. She was a reporter here from 2000 to 2001 and worked as a co-anchor and correspondent from 2001 to 2003. She had done live reporting of the 9/11 terrorist attacks for TechTV.
In January 2003, she joined CNN’s Headline News and also was a general news reporter for several other programs. She was a national correspondent for CNN Newsource. From 2006 to 2008, she was the anchor of the show Prime News with Erica Hill and before this from 2005 to 2006 she co-anchored Prime News Tonight.
She used to also provide news updates for Anderson Cooper 3600. From November 2009 to January 2010, Erica was the co-anchor for CNN Tonight. She was with CBS News from 2010 to 2012 and later joined NBC News. She was the co-anchor for Weekend Today and also served as a National Correspondent.
