English actress, Lena Headey has a very successful career. But she does not have the same luck in her personal life! She was first engaged to actor Johnny Cicco. It soon ended. She was dating actor Jason Flemyng from 1994 to 2003. They had met during the shooting of the film The Jungle Book. They were so much in love that she got a tattoo made of his name in the Thai language on her arm. After their split, she got the tattoo removed.
In May 2007, Lena married the musician, Peter Loughran. The couple shares a son named Wylie Loughran. Wylie was born on 31 March 2010. Lena had faced some medical problems after the birth of Wylie in the form of postpartum depression (postnatal depression). Lena and Peter separated in 2011 and on 20 July 2012, Lena applied for divorce at the LA County Superior Court. The divorce was completed on 26 December 2013.

Lena was born on 3 October 1973 in Hamilton, Bermuda. Her current age is 44. Her father John Headey is a Yorkshire police officer while her mother’s name is Sue Headey. She has a younger brother called Tim. The family migrated to Somerset when Lena was 5 years old.
When she turned 11, the family again shifted their home to Shelley, West Yorkshire. She learned some ballet when small. She then went to Shelley College. She was playing a role in the school production at the Royal National Theater.

Lena was noticed during her performance and offered a role in the film Waterland. She had a minor role in The Remains of the Day and had received 8 Academy Award nominations for it. That speaks of Lena’s acting talent. She was cast in The Jungle Book and got good reviews from everyone.
She did the 1997 romantic film, Mrs. Dalloway. She got other memorable roles to play and she got the lead role in Aberdeen. She received coveted awards for this role.
