Faze Censor a famous gamer, YouTube Star, Fitness Enthusiast. He is the Two-time Call of Duty National Champion and also director of the FaZe Clan, a gaming clan. He has also played professionally for other numerous teams such as including Quantic, Team EnVy, Strictly Business, and Prophecy.

Birthday and childhood

Faze was born on August 21, 1994, in Long Island, New York, United States. His real name is Doug Martin, also known as Doug Censor Martin. AT age 13, he had to change his school and move with his grandmother after his grandfather died.

Gaming career

Before fame, even at a young age, he was obsessed with the world of gaming. He used to get bullied at school and video games were an escape from reality for him. As a young child, he used to play the Nintendo classics such as Pokemon, Zelda, and Mario. Doug also was on the school football team. But due to his obsession with games, it began to hinder his sports performance and school studies.

When the call of Duty: Black Ops came out, he became so much hooked up with it that eventually the left school to become a professional CoD player. He first joined the team “Quantic Nex-TT-hreat”, which reached no8 in numerous tournaments.

After winning the national tournaments such as MLG National Championship 2011 for Call of Duty: Black Ops gaming tournament- twice, he made a name for himself. He was a member of “Quantic Nex-TT-hreat” then.

Unstable team

After success in the ‘Call of Duty: Black Ops’ season, Doug got difficulty in getting into another team for the ‘Call of Duty: Black Ops 2. He joined one team, left, and joined another. He played for teams including “Team EnVyUs”, “Thrust Nation” and “Quantic LeveraGe”. He finally managed to get into the team “Strictly Business”. The team in the next season played a no. of tournaments. They were placed in the 4^th place in Call of Duty Championship.

FaZe Black

Team “FaZe Black” saw his potential as a gamer and invited Censor to join with them. He did accept the invitation and played along with them. Eventually, he became a leader of the team. However, the team could not give consistent performance. They finally disbanded in 2015 after a series of disagreements.

Out of gaming

After Team FaZe Black was disbanded, Doug was out of professional gaming. He assured his fans that he would return to the world of gaming in the near future. He then began to focus on fitness training.

He loves himself and loves to take care of himself. In other words, we can say he is a fitness enthusiast. He works out at the gym regularly to maintain his posture and physique. He created a YouTube channel in 2011 and began to upload videos guiding the newcomers to train the body physically. He also encourages his fans to lead a healthy lifestyle.  The nerdy hunk became a sponsored athlete of G Fuel Energy, SCUFS, and Gymshark.
