Paige Hathaway was born on 31 July 1987 in either Minnesota or Oklahoma City. She had an alcoholic father and her parents divorced when she was still a baby. She was shunted between her maternal and paternal grandparents’ house. She lived in a trailer with her mother who subsisted on government aid.

Her mother had fled to Texas to be with someone she had befriended online but she was caught and little Paige was placed with her paternal grandmother. She also spent some of her childhood days in foster care.
She used to play sports such as soccer in her childhood and also attended fitness classes. At the age of 16, Paige moved out of the house and started living on her own. She wanted to be a dentist but ultimately took a degree in sports medicine.

At the age of 24, Paige Hathaway was trained by a person for free for the state bodybuilding competition. She came second in the competition and she decided to pursue this as a career. She wrote to all magazines for the roles of a fitness model. She was invited in 2013 to NY by Women’s Health but was not hired due to the lack of an agent.
She took this negative phase in her life as motivation and got on Model Mayhem and also created her own Instagram account. She posed for various professional pictures and uploaded them on the website as well as on her Instagram.

She also contacted Muscle and Fitness magazine who offered to do fitness videos and magazine covers for free. Her Instagram’s popular page pictures were picked up by Shredz for whom she worked for two years as their spokesperson. She gained 2 million fans during this time and her career took a boost.
