Temmie Chang has been credited at multiple places on this game ‘Undertale’. On this game, Temmie Chang is the logo designer, cutscene artist, overworld artist, animator, shop artist, as well as the title artist.

The concept of the following characters was also done by Temmie Chang: Loox, Vegetoid (with Toby), Papyrus (with Toby and special inspiration from JN Wiedle), Lesser dog (with Toby), Greater Dog (with Toby), Undyne (armor only), Aaron, and of Temmie.

The character of Temmie was made by Toby Fox for Undertale based on Tuyo (Temmie) Chang in appearance and character. It is a minor character in the 2015 game. It is not only a character but also a species of monster. Temmie is said to be a mix of cat and dog features. They speak broken English.

Their village is hidden and it has the only shopkeeper who sells items for the players including the strongest armor in the game. Some believe that Temmie is cringy and underrated whereas there are others who feel that Temmie in the game has a huge fanbase without actually doing much.

Temmie Chang has also done the cover of the book called ‘Fallen Down’. It is a book which introduces and describes the game’s lovable characters and the guilt of a genocide run. Temmie Chang’s childhood

She was born on April 3, 1993, in Brooklyn, New York, the USA. Her mother had named her as Temmie and this was the nickname of Temmie’s grandmother. Talking about her childhood to ‘Outermode’, Temmie had said:

“I grew up in a boring suburb. I didn’t really do much or go out really I just drew a lot and read a lot of manga and watched a lot of fan animations.”

She added:

“My mom was very supportive of my interest in art so I went to a lot of fine arts type classes like life-painting classes and an art summer camp I attended for 5 years (with scholarship).” 

Temmie was still at school when she was working on Undertale. Temmie is a graduate of the private university in New York called as Pratt Institute. She has completed her degree in 2D animation from this Institute. She had a thesis for this degree and in May 2015, Temmie released a whimsical thesis film called ‘Potion Shop’ to Vimeo. The music for this film was contributed by composer and designer of Undertale, Toby Fox.

Undertale is a video game and it is basically about a child who falls into an underworld area which is full of monsters of various kinds. Every monster is different and has its own unique attack characteristic and personality. The monsters are in the way of the player and have to be dealt with.

One has to fight or act through battles while at the same time dodging magical bullet attacks. There is an option of showing mercy on these monsters if the player so wishes. The friend can also befriend the monsters. But it the testing of the player’s talent, speed, and skill when the player meets a relentless killer. This video game is available for Windows, Mac, Linux, PS4, and Vita.
