Harmony Korine is an American actor, director, and producer who is famous for his works in ‘Spring Breakers’, ‘Gummo’, Ken Park’, and ‘Mister Lonely’. He is also the writer of the 1995 film ‘Kids’.

He was working as a professional Skateboeared and at that time, he met Photographer Larry Cark and asked him to write a script on skater including AIDs experience. He wrote a script for the film ‘Kids’ for Larry. After that, he became more interested in writing, producing, and directing.
He wrote and directed the film ‘Gummo’ in 1997 which is a movie based on life in Xenia, Ohio, which was devasted by a tornado in the early 1970s. The film received negative responses from the viewers and they left the hall during the initial cat drowning sequence. He told to New York Times,
“When I saw a piece of fried bacon fixed to the bathroom wall in Gummo, it knocked me off my chair. [Korine’s] a very clear voice of a generation of filmmakers that is taking a new position. It’s not going to dominate world cinema, but so what?”
His other film credits include ‘Julien Donkey-Boy’ in 1999, ‘Mister Lonely’ in 2007, ‘Trash Humpers’ in 2009, ‘Spring Breakers’ in 2012 and recently, he worked in the film ‘The Beach Bum’ in 2019. His miscellaneous film works in the film ‘The Devil, The Sinner, and His Journey’ in 1998, Mac and Plak’ in 2010, ‘Act Da Fool’ in 2010, ‘Blood of Havana’ in 2011, ‘Snowballs’ in 2011, ‘The Fourth Dimension’ in 2012.
He directed the movie ‘Above the Below’ in 2003, and appeared as an actor in the movies like ‘Good Will Hunting’ in 1997, ‘Stocker’ in 2013, ‘Manglehorn’ in 2014, ‘Mid90s’ in 2018 and many more.
