English professional footballer Wayne Rooney and his wife Coleen Rooney know each other since Coleen was 12 years old. Their relationship started when she was 16 years old. Her prospective mother-in-law and Wayne’s mother Jeanette used to work as a part-time cleaner at St. John Bosco Arts College where Coleen used to study.
So the association is a close and long one. The relation is not only between Wayne Rooney and his wife but between their two families as well.
The lovebirds were very much in love and were dubbed by the media and friends as ‘Wayleen’. They got married on June 12, 2008, in Portofino, Italy. On November 2, 2009, their first child, Kai Wayne Rooney was born. On May 21, 2013, Coleen delivered a baby boy called Klay Anthony Rooney.

There were reports that Wayne had cheated on his wife and slept with women when she was pregnant with the first child. When Coleen was on a holiday this August with her three children, Wayne was charged with drunk and speed driving and when he was caught behind the wheel by the traffic cops, it was part animal Laura Simpson’s Volkswagen that he was driving.
Laura was also beside him and she boasted that they were on their way to sleep together. Coleen on her return from her holidays had given Wayne a scolding. She was also spotted by the paparazzi without her wedding ring on 2 occasions. There is an adequate indication to point to the fact that all is not well in their home and their marriage has hit the hard rocks and might soon collapse.

Will Coleen divorce Wayne? Single again?
It is learned that in spite of so much evidence of cheating from Wayne and her anger on learning these facts, Coleen will not divorce Wayne. The reason cited is not financial but due to Coleen’s conservative upbringing and her strict religious and family beliefs.
Her friends have disclosed that Coleen immensely loves Wayne and his family. Wayne’s friends also agree to this and have said:
“She loves him, but more than that, she loves family. Most of the time he’s a good husband and a hands-on dad.”
Coleen also has great support from her parents, Tony and Colette. Coleen’s brothers, Joe and Anthony McLoughlin are also friendly with Wayne and have business ties with him. Wayne has assisted them in opening their spinning fitness classes in Liverpool.
