Hue Jackson is an American football coach and a former football player. He is with the NFL and has been coach of Oakland Raiders and Cleveland Browns. Hue Jackson was fired by Cleveland Browns after they lost to the Steelers recently.

Hue and his offensive coordinator Todd Haley were both fired a few days back by Browns. This was following their loss to the Steelers. The official statement from the Cleveland Browns said:
“We greatly appreciate Hue’s commitment to the Cleveland Browns organization over the last two and a half years, We understand how critical this period is in development of our football team, individually and collectively, and believed it was in the organization’s best interest to make the move at this time, in order to maximize our opportunities the rest of this season. We certainly only wish Hue, Michelle, and his family the best moving forward.”
It has also been revealed now that his hire was not a unanimous decision.
Hue Jackson and his professional career as a coach
As per his wiki, it is known that Hue started coaching in college football in 1987. This was at his alma mater namely Pacific. After three years, in 1990 and 1991, he became the running backs coach and special teams coordinator at the California State University in Fullerton. From 1992 to 1995, he was with the Arizona State University coaching the students there. From 1997 to 2000, Hue became the offensive coordinator for the University of Southern California. He used to also teach during the summer coaching internships.
He was the coach of Washington Redskins from 2001 to 2002. Later he taught wide receiving to Cincinnati Bengals. In 2007, he was with the Atlanta Falcons and 2008 to 2009, he coached Baltimore Ravens. In 2010, he was with the Oakland Raiders. He became their head coach in 2011. In January 2012, he was fired by them.
He was with the Cincinnati Bengals again for 7 years and in 2016 joined Cleveland Browns as head coach and now after his inability to get the team a win, he has been sacked by them. His net worth is $ 5 million.
Hue Jackson and his early life, family, and college play
Hue Jackson was born on 22 October 1965 in Los Angeles, CA. He is 53 years old now. His mother was Betty Lee Jackson and she died in August 2018 at 83. Two weeks before her death, her other son and Hue’s brother John Jackson Jr. died unexpectedly.

“It’s been a difficult period of time for me but everyone has to go through this in life, It’s not easy but I always try to focus on the fond memories I’ve shared with the people I’ve lost and that helps get you through it. He attended Dorsey High School and used to play football and basketball there. He was at Glendale Community College and excelled in football there. He received his associate degree in 1984. He then joined Pacific and did extremely well there too. He completed his studies and earned a degree in physical education from there. He has an American nationality and African-American ethnicity.

Hue is married and his wife is Michelle. The couple has two daughters and they reside in Berea, Ohio.
Hue’s height, weight, and such body measurements are not available. He has black eyes and is bald. He is not active on social media.
